JC Kristensen is some, if not all, of the following:
- Editor of the Journal of Visual Culture.
- Assistant Project Manager, [Viva] Oral History Project at Camberwell/V&A Museum.
- Part-time Lecturer in Visual Culture and Design History at Kingston University London.
- Visiting Tutor, School of Visual Art, Arts University College at Bournemouth.
- Co-editor of KIOSK magazine 2008 and 2009.
- PhD Researcher at the School of Art and Design History, in the Faculty of Art, Design and Architecture at Kingston University London.
- An expert husky driver.
She was a member of the Design History Society’s Executive Committee, serving as the Society’s Communications Officer [2005-08] and was co-convenor of Design/Body/Sense conference, the Design History Society Annual Conference 2007.
Her research interests are centred around the materiality and embodiment of text; and the textualisation of bodies.
She also writes, edits, researches, communicates, brands and markets. Her specialism is publishing, in all its varieties and formats.
